I was raised in Collinsville, Oklahoma – a suburb of Tulsa -where I graduated from high school in 1976. I received my diploma in Commercial Art from OSU/Okmulgee in 1978. I have been married to Dana (Harrison) since 1980 and we have two sons–Ryon and Alex. We currently live in Owasso, Oklahoma.

T H E R E   I S   A   G O D

Church–worshiping God and fellowshiping with other believers–is a very important part of our lives. We currently attend Bible Church of Owasso. I believe the Bible teaches the “Doctrines of Grace”, i.e. Calvinism:

– God, from eternity past, chose those who would be saved.
– Jesus died only for those God had already “elected” to salvation.
– Those who are genuinely saved are kept by God–they cannot lose/will not give up their salvation.

I work at Hughes-Anderson Heat Exchangers, Inc in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In a nutshell, we build refinery equipment. I am a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), but my primary function is to write and maintain our Welding Procedures. I am also the company’s Visual Basic programmer, MS Access programmer, website administrator, and resident graphic designer/cartoonist.

I have co-written two commercial applications with a friend who also works at H-A. The first program is an engineering app for TEMA, an organization that sets standards for the manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers. The software package consists of three modules that perform calculations specific to the heat exchanger industry. Worldwide distribution began in 1999 in conjunction with TEMA’s release of its Eighth Edition standards. The second program, called Ticketmaster is an accounting/tracking app for a local trucking company.

J U S T   F O R   F U N

• CYCLING – I started cycling in 1996, hurt my knee in 2000 and didn’t get back on a bike until 2011. I have a Cannondale CAAD8 105.

• WOODWORKING – I’ve done quite a bit of work on our house. One of the biggest projects was adding a pergola-styled patio cover. You can see some of my projects here.
